Match Week is on the Way!
Cope Environmental Center has been chosen as a funded partner for the Wayne County Challenge Match this year! This means any donation made to CEC between Nov. 6-13 will be MATCHED by the Foundation (for donations up to $1000 per individual donor).
We need to raise $7500. Here’s how you can help.
CEC has been awarded an amazing opportunity to maximize your dollars to help us meet our basic needs! How can you help during the Wayne County Foundation Challenge Match week from November 6-13? By donating! We have some create ways you can donate money!
Find your passion.
Donating to an organization can help spark interest in their mission and a relationship with the organization! If trees have always been your passion, CEC will use your dollar to help protect them. If you passion is environmental education, support our programs financially and through volunteer service. Help us help you make a difference!
Donate as a holiday gift.
Many people would love to donate money to organizations that share their passions, but they may not have the extra change sitting around. Donating to an organization for someone could be the perfect holiday gift! Do you know someone who loves birding? Donate to CEC for them during match week and double their dollars to help provide a home for native birds!
Donate to share an experience.
Have you ever had an experience in Nature that shaped you? Give that to someone else! At CEC, the average cost per program is $10/child. However, because of donors like you, we can charge only $2/child. Your dollars go directly to helping connect kids with nature!
There you have it! Find your reason to donate, then give during the Wayne County Foundation Challenge Match week from November 6-13. You won’t regret supporting local environmental education!
