Registration

Opens February 1st for members and March 1st for non-members! Space is limited, but registration is open until the classes are full.

Phone Registration: Call 765-855-3188 to make payment 0r request a registration form (temporarily reserves your child’s spot in the class and must be returned with program fee within two weeks of receiving the form).

Online Registration: When reserving your child/children’s spot online, please know that you must use a credit card to pay and that your spot is NOT confirmed until you receive an email.  ALSO, you must reserve a spot for each individual child (i.e. if you are reserving a spot for two children, you will need to go through this process 2 times.) Once you have paid, you will receive a confirmation email that will require you to reply. Please respond with the Summer Adventure Program you have chosen and return the registration form within two weeks. 2016 Summer Adventure Programs

(NEW!) Peek In to Summer (Pre-k-8th)
June 3, 9am-4:30pm
Enjoy a day at CEC to celebrate summer! Fishing, wetland explorations, hiking and much more will all be a part of this fun-filled day. Please make sure your child brings a lunch, a water bottle, and change of clothes (we WILL get MESSY!).

Pre-K & K

Nature’s Superheroes, June 6-10, 9am-12pm
Batman and Superman are OUR superheroes, but did you know nature has its OWN superheroes? Discover the amazing powers of adaptation in nature’s clever creatures!

Pirate Adventures at Cope Cove, June 27-July 1, 9am-12pm
Ahoy, mateys! Come join the Cope Crew as one of our first mates and help us explore nature’s treasures and legends.

Aqua Adventures, July 25-29, 9am-12pm
Wading in to wetlands, fishing, and water-based games are just a few of the exciting water activities we will be doing this week! Be prepared to get wet EVERYDAY!

1st-3rd

O.I.C. -Outdoor Investigator’s Club, June 13-17, 9am-12pm
There will be a mystery to be solved every day, so bring your investigative skills! Badges will be included!

Sticks & Stones: Native Crafts & Skills, June 13-17, 1pm-4pm
Weave baskets from nature, play games with natural items, and hear stories about our natural world that have been told for hundreds of years.

Misunderstood Creatures, July 18-22, 9am-12pm
Do bats, snakes, spiders or carrion beetles give you the creeps? Come learn why these creatures are helpers and should be LOVED!

Amazing Cope Race, July 18-22, 1pm-4pm
Which team will complete this week’s challenges? Join us for an exciting and challenging week at CEC!

4th-6th

Exploration Station, June 20-24, 9am-3pm (w/overnight Thursday)
Explore the different habitats of CEC and other properties near Cope Center–including the ever popular Wildman Woods creek hike. Please bring a packed lunch every day.

7th-8th

Wilderness Survival, July 11-15, 9am-3pm (w/overnight Thursday)
Starting a fire, cooking over a fire, building a shelter in nature…we will learn about those and so many more skills used to survive in the wilderness. Please bring a packed lunch every day.

Program Fees

3 hour programs:    $70 for members and $80 for non-members

6 hour programs:    $140 for members and $160 for non-members

Peek in to Summer:  $15 per camper

***Lunch Bunch is available for the 1st-3rd programs.  It is an additional $10.00 for the whole week or $2/day.  Your camper is required to bring his/her lunch in a reusable container to limit trash. It is supervised time to eat and have free play.

If your child brings his/her lunch to camp, please work with your child to pack a lunch that is as “trash-free” as possible!

Scholarships

Camp scholarships are limited and need-based. Please call 765-855-3188 for more information.  If you are granted this scholarship, payment is required BEFORE the first day of camp.
