Interested in becoming a Master Naturalist? You’ve come to the right place! Cope Environmental Center will be hosting classes from April 4 to May 23, 2019!

The Indiana Master Naturalist program can provide you with many hands-on opportunities to learn about our Hoosier natural resources. It also provides a way for you to share that knowledge, along with your life experiences, through volunteer service. The program is sponsored by the Resource Conservation & Development Councils, Indiana Soil & Water Conservation Districts, Purdue Cooperative Extension Service and Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

The workshop consists of eight classes that take place every Thursday from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.  (Exception – The first class (Herps of Indiana) will be held at 6:30-9:30 p.m.)

Please dress for the weather – layers, coats, rain jacket, boots, flashlights, etc. These classes will involve time in the classroom and in the field, so come prepared for both.

UPDATE: workshop is currently FULL as of 2/11/2019 – additional registrations will be placed on a waiting list. Thank you for your interest in the workshop!
