Christmas Tree Recycling
The holidays are over and you don’t know what to do with your cut Christmas tree. Don’t throw it out on the curb, bring your undecorated (please no ornaments, lights or tinsel) Christmas trees to Cope Environmental Center! Your trees will be recycled into mulch for our trails!
Please drop your trees off in the lower lot on the South side of the property (off of Shoemaker Road). This is made possible due to the generosity of Richmond Power & Light.
Family Maple Syrup 2018
Travel back in time to discover how maple syrup was made by Native Americans and early settlers. Next, make your way to the sap house (constructed of reclaimed materials) for a lesson in maple syrup production in today’s world. All participants will finish the morning with a pancake lunch and get to use CEC’s maple syrup! Also you can check fun maple syrup facts about Indiana here! http://www.indianamaplesyrup.
