The Whitewater River Chat
Bob Barr of the School of Science at IUPUI, an expert on Indiana Rivers, will be with us on the evening of Thursday, July 13 at a meeting or you and others concerned with the management and use of the Whitewater River. The Whitewater has unique characteristics that present both challenges and opportunities for those of us in the Whitewater Watershed and Mr. Barr’s unique expertise can help show us how to make the best of them.
The meeting will start at 6:30p at the Miller Community Building in the northwest corner of Connersville’s Roberts Park. It is just east of the corner of 30th Street and Park Road (also Indiana Highway 1). Beverages and light refreshments will be available. Please pass this message on to others with a special concern for the Whitewater River watershed. If you need more information about this meeting, please contact Dave Caldwell at the Fayette County Soil and Water Conservation District at 765-541-1287 or Fayetteswcd@gmail.com.
