Learn about the 2014 Alternative Gift Fair…
The Fair is organized by a group of local women in an effort to make gift giving more sustainable and meaningful for their community! This website is hosted by Cope Environmental Center, the AGF fiscal sponsor. The Alternative Gift Fair is NOT a project of Cope Environmental Center, but the Center is very proud to be a small part of this effort!

We are so pleased to have the following organizations participating in this meaningful way. If you are interested on participating as a matching organization (at any level!), please contact Alison Zajdel at 765-855-3188.

Gift Fair Info
It’s a chance for your holiday shopping to build a better community! Find the perfect gift for anyone on your list at the 9th Annual Alternative Gift Fair. Isn’t it about time you enjoyed a relaxing, rejuvenating, and joyful shopping experience? Instead of browsing shelves, shoppers will browse through tables of charities. Each table will be staffed with a knowledgeable volunteer or staff member waiting to answer questions about missions, programs, or participants. Purchase outdoor experiences for area classrooms, art supplies for after-school programs or food for needy animals. It’s a great way to tailor your gift to your loved one’s favorite cause!
The Fair will include:
- A great variety of organizations- perfect for everyone on your list (see list below)
- Calligraphers to put the finishing touches on your “gift card”
- Gifts prepared in boxes and bows (or mail-ready envelopes) while you wait
- Sustainable ideas for the holidays and beyond
- Free child care for shoppers
- Free chair massages to relax and rejuvenate
- Great live holiday music
- Refreshments for everyone!
Gifts come complete with certificate of donation, information about the selected organization, reusable box, and ribbon. Best of all, you’ll be doing more than finishing your list…you’ll be contributing to the health and success of our community.
